Now is the last chance, I mean today
To stop global warming, or we’ll all have to pay. . .

Music composed and words written by Roger Cuthbertson

Glacier National Park Fire August 31, 2017

Glacier Park Inferno

August 31st, two thousand seventeen
Wild forest fires, worst ever seen.
Sperry Chalet burned, great loss seemed
Global warming a cause it seems

( Chorus)
Now is the last chance, I mean today
To stop global warming, or we’ll all have to pay.(2x)

Two thousand forty-seven is the date
When all Glacier glaciers will have melted fate.
Including Sperry, no further need for chalet
Global warming anything but great.

(Chorus)

Climate Collision ahead, gotta slam on the brakes
Urgent action needed, we can no longer wait.
When is the last chance before it’s too late
To avert climate disaster, annihilation fate?

(Chorus 2)
Now is the last chance, I mean today!
Or is it tomorrow? Or was it yesterday? (2×)

Roger Cuthbertson, 2017 revised 2022  (key of D, or G harp)
