On October 19, 2018 the CEO of Lockheed Corporation, Marillyn Hewson, spoke at the International Women Engineers Conference at the Convention Center in Minneapolis.
Women Against Military Madness was there to protest her presence as the CEO of Lockheed Martin, the largest arms seller in the world. The CEOs of the largest-selling arms manufacturing companies are the .01% t of the 1%. All involved, except the workers, of course, are wealthy—the board members to management.

Hewson is not only a war profiteer but also a war criminal as Lockheed furnished the bomb that the Saudis used to target dozens of school children on a bus. Lockheed Martin is furnishing the bombs and weapons the Saudis are using to kill Yemeni civilians. According to law professor Marjorie Cohn, this makes Lockheed liable for these war crimes. I bet none of the young aspiring weapons CEOS attending Hewson’s talk were aware of the fact that it was Lockheed’s bombs that killed the Yemeni schoolchildren.
