Write a Song for Peace and Justice: MN Community Sings and WAMM
Guidelines: Write a one-verse song to the tune of Bicycle Built for Two.
Only one verse per entry, but multiple entries are allowed. Themes: peace, justice, and antiwar activism (environmental justice is OK, too). WAMM’s resident songwriter, Brigid McDonald, will select the top four verses to be considered for the grand prize. Include contact information, but the contest judging will be anonymous.
On November 5, 2011, the night of Sing the Great Songs of Peace, the winning four entries will be sung by all! One winner will be selected by crowd applause.
