Within hours of a grand bargain struck by Germany and France, Standard & Poor’s warned that fifteen euro-zone nations could see their credit ratings downgraded. And income inequality among American workers is up twenty-five per cent since 1980, according to a report released by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
