New Report Proves Police Preparing for Rioting on a National Scale

Militarized police forces have become de rigueur, even in the nation’s smallest towns — but arming law enforcement with the weapons of war, rather than protecting civilians, has birthed a chasm of distrust and animosity on both sides. It isn’t as if this equipment is being produced by a marketplace intent on keeping civilians safe from an ostensible outside threat.

The Sisters McDonald are siblings and Sisters in the Order of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ). They began singing together at at early at at the request of their father, a Minnesota farmer. In addition their assigned duties in the order, they found time to sing and bring joy to peace rallies and to many other events. They've been on the protest lines, arrested, hassled but mostly enjoyed by their peace loving admirers. Here's a story about them today.
