MAY PEACE BE WITH ALL THIS HOLIDAY SEASON AND BEYOND

And Still We Rise!

Rise Up Times covers  justice and peace issues with cutting edge articles and insightful commentary and crucial information for these Rise Up Times. We bring you critical analysis and perspectives you won’t find in the mainstream corporate media, news of activism and resistance, and thoughtful articles about the state of the country, the state of the world.

The name Rise Up Times was chosen because these are the times to Rise Up and be heard. The moniker “Times” refers not only to the Times we live in but, as you know, is also a common name for newspapers and other media.

Your help is needed to continue to bring you the same quality articles, news, commentary, and analysis and perspectives in Rise Up Times that you have come to expect.  Here are some ways to help Rise Up Times continue to bring you an alternative to the mainstream corporate media.

Donations in any amount at any time are gratefully accepted.  I like the ACLU arrangement as a guideline, although I do not have annual memberships per se: $40 Joint, $30 Individual and $5 Low Income. In Paypal there is an option to make a monthly pledge if you wish.

As a low-income senior, I have no discretionary income, so all donations are greatly appreciated to cover the costs of the blog.

The people yes. The people will live on. …
In the darkness with a great bundle of grief the people march.
In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for keeps,
the people march:
“Where to? what next?”

—Carl Sandburg
