Peace activists from around Northern California held a non-violent direct action at Beale Air Force Base near Marysville, CA on Sept. 29-30, 2014 as part of the Global Action against the use of drones for surveillance and killing.
Activists performed the “Dances of Universal Peace” as they danced across the demarcation line where nine were arrested by military police. The preceding day two other activists also crossed the line in the name of a Peaceful World. Beale AFB is home of the RQ-4 Global Hawk surveillance drone. The group Occupy Beale Air Force Base has been protesting Drone Warfare and Militarism at the base monthly for the last four years. info:https://www.facebook.com/OccupyBealeA…
