With the recent report by the Congressional Budget Office, a portion of which announced that there would be two million fewer jobs, the anti-Obamacare crew went nuts. It was widely reported in the media that this meant two million job losses, eek! What many people failed to notice, however, was that the CBO report was talking about jobs, or hours at jobs, that people voluntarily stop working.

If I voluntarily cut my hours because I no longer have to work longer just to get health coverage, most people would congratulate me. The anti-Obamacare “job-killer” logic can also apply to summer vacations and weekends, too. Just think of all the jobs that are being killed by people not working!

Don’t get me wrong, Obamacare is a cobbled together beast of a program that’s a huge giveaway to the insurance industry, but it’s better than the alternative.
