April 7 was Re-Occupy Day in Minneapolis — Occupiers gathered in Peavey Plaza and Loring Park. After being evicted from Peavey at 1:30 am, they peacefully marched down the street and were brutally attacked by the police. Videos at www.occupyminneapolis.mn show the police pulling several people off public sidewalks and violently slamming a young man into the street. A KSTP-TV photojournalist was injured after a police officer knocked the camera off his shoulder without warning. Another independent journalist was arrested.
