Protest NDAA! Tell Obama Stop Support for Political Repression
Friday, January 6th @ 4:30 PM @ Obama for America Office, 2722 University Ave. SE, Minneapolis
Join a picket in front of the “Obama For America” campaign office in Minneapolis to protest the president’s track record trampling on our civil liberties.
Last week President Obama’s signed the National Defense Authorization Act–also known as the NDAA–which allows the indefinite detention of American citizens without trial by the United States military.
Last year the FBI raided and subpoeaned 23 anti-war and international international solidarity activists as part of a national investigation of the peace movement.
Across the country the Occupy Wall Street movement is fighting for the very right to protest.
Take a stand for civil liberties and against political repression by telling his campaign that our rights and our votes will not be taken for granted.
If you can’t make it to the protest call in to Obama at 202-456-1414 or 202-456-2461. Organized by the MN Committee to Stop FBI Repression.
